No doubt that post’ Bad Raid Vibes’ has pissed off a few people, stirred a few things, I’v seen a couple of comments that indicate certain individual feelings for sure. Does it bother me? No. The whole point of the post was to vent my feelings and that should be allowed. If it’s not liked so be it. Nobody should be stopped from being able to vent their opinion. The big thing to remember here, is, those players have the right to be upset, offended, agitated and feeling like they are being targeted, but in the same vein, I, too am entitled to show and tell the tale of what happened and my feelings towards them.
The interesting part is, since that post the other four have said nothing to me. Nobody else that knows them has said anything to me. I am more than happy to have a proper discussion with those individuals. But they won’t approach it.
In my ending of that post I did make the mention of liars and cheaters so here I wanted to clarify this a little further.
The raid we were doing, Desert Perpetual was the last raid made for Destiny following The Edge of Fate. The World First Race was filled with a lot of controversy when an exploit of sorts was discovered allowing people to gain a free clear of the final boss, without having completed other parts of the raid. With the nature of how the raid was made, known as non-linear meant players could do any of the encounters in any specific order. So, the final boss can be completed for players without touching other encounters.
Clear times for Contest mode were radically reduced from several hours to 10minutes and under, over-inflated kills assigned to one player, while others were sitting on 1-kills, weapons choices that are not significantly considered top DPS weapons for Contest mode, and the use of ‘net-limiting’. Like most in the community I did’t know this was going during Contest mode until the 48hour timer was completed and whispers began to spread on socials like Twitter and X, and especially when I started seeing the account Raid Hub posting about it days after Contest completed.
As mentioned in the previous post about the couple, for anyone wondering if I’m making up the accusations saying he and the Mrs cheated the DP raid on contest. Well I’m not. You cannot search Raid Report stats for Shadow because he’s listed the API ability to track it on RR.
So there you have it, I just wanted to make sure this was clear to everyone. I didn’t make any false accusations about them, the proof is in the link.
Why does it matter? Never said it matters, it has been and gone. I just wanted to make sure I’m not going to be amused of making up things so am making sure the proof is out there. If either of them would like to comment feel free to do so. I won’t be taking both posts down.
This whole thing just gets sadder and sadder I’m not involved nor do I know who the above people are but why you keep outing people and then say you don’t care doesn’t make much sense. If you didn’t care you’d have left the other post be the only thing on it.
My biggest issue in all honestly is the fact you name dropped the seems very witch hunty.
I’m sorry you had a bad experience with these individuals but I think you are going about this all wrong.
