Just a quick post shoutout to the Caroline Hurricanes on their second Stanley Cup win earlier today.
Without a doubt the best team of the entire season (there could be a case to say other teams were just as good); and they were always very consistent, not just this year but the last couple of years. Stubborn, never panicked and always remained the benchmark. With so many teams in the East always in top form many might have dismissed them in years past. Not anymore! Not doubt this had been building for a while.
I am not a Canes fan obviously, but considering who they were facing off in the final, for me they were the better team to pick.
Vegas lol. Glad to see them lose, I am definitely not a Vegas fan from the second they stepped into the league never liked them. Most expansion teams while I may not like I certainly never hated as much as Vegas. And it is not the reasons you may be thinking aka with the regards of the whole Hockey Canada assault thing, nope that is not even why I hate them.
Anyway, jsut wanted again to say Congrats Carolina!! Well deserved!!!!
